Classes and Curriculum
The school is open to all children regardless of race, nationality, creed, gender and disability.
A child must be 12 months of age by September 30th of the current school year to be enrolled in the program. Classroom placement is made by the Director in consideration of the child's date of birth, stage of development and communication with the parents and educational team.
We believe strongly that the ratio of children to adults directly affects the quality of the early learning experience and follow the student to teacher ratio standards set forth by the Virginia Department of Social Services as listed below:
Birth to 16 months: 4:1, 16 months to 2 years: 5:1, 2 years to 3 years: 8:1, 3 years to 6 years: 10:1

The curriculum offered in each age group is specially tailored to meet the needs of every child at their specific stage of development with numerous opportunities to play outdoors and learn through our environment.
